Well the New Year has come and I am bringing all my “Things to do” with me into 2008. I didn’t even have time to think of a New Years Resolution this year. But, I have plenty I would like to accomplish in 2008!
My goal this week is to go through my gallery pictures on my website and clean out..I didn't realize how many pictures were on there!!!
I am currently working on my daughter’s bedrooms. We painted both rooms and they decided to switch rooms with each other. So I went through all of Amber’s old toys, papers, crayons etc. I had 3 bags full of what I would call throw away. I do this once a year and usually end up with at least 3 bags of trash each year. :) I finally finished that up Monday, so she is what I would call organized for awhile.
The girls and I went furniture shopping last Thursday to get an idea of what kind of furniture they would like for their rooms. We went up to Shorts furniture on Friday and picked out new dressers, armoires, headboards and a night stand. They are very excited, but a few days later I am thinking…. They have low ceilings in their room’s, I sure hope those aren’t extra tall mirrors on those dressers!!!! :( It certainly wouldn’t be like the 9 foot Christmas tree’s I use to buy for our 7 foot rooms, where we could just cut it off. :( So I am keeping my fingers crossed.
So as of right now I am enjoying a slow time with pictures so I can finish up these bedrooms and I am sure I will get myself into another project real soon!!! Happy New Year everyone!!!
