An old friend

This is an old friend that I haven't seen for quite some time. She is just as sweet as she has always been.
We don't realize how much our families grow until we see someone elses family. Amy's family was such a nice looking family and those kids were dolls!!!! The session went very well for being a hot muggy day and trying to hurry so everyones hair would stay put.
I had so many favorites while working on these, so I will just post them all.
Thanks Amy for letting me do your pictures!!!

My Banner

Girls Softball purchased me a banner and presented this to me last Friday evening. I was so glad to be able to help the girls, Glenda and the board out anyway that I could.

These girls were in need of some donations to help build their funds back up after they had been exhausted. So I gladly donated all the profits back to them from their team pictures. I will gladly do this again next year if I am given the chance to do team pictures.

Thanks again guys!!!

Golfing?

This is Jayme, he was such a nice kid..... he loves to golf and so we met at the golf course. It was alittle challenging for me as I know nothing about golf! I have just started on some of his pictures and I have been trying to get my mind open and in the creative mode for his golfing shots.

We had a good day together and it seemed like I had this kid traveling all over the country side.

Here are just a few I wanted to post that I really liked of Jayme.

Worn out Senior

This is the first Senior I have got to post in awhile.... everyone lately has been private, so I am excited to post something to do with Seniors on my blog.
This is Ryan and I really wore this boy out.... It is just too hard to stop with a few pictures when all these idea's are popping in your head! I had some new places I wanted to try and who better to use than Ryan!! :) He was such a good sport!!!

What I have been doing

Well several people have asked what we have been up to. Well here it is......... We thought this summer we would waste it building a garage and remodeling a kitchen! :)

So we started a new garage in May and it still isn't done, but we are getting there.

Here is the old shed that use to sit by our house.

The kitchen too!

Craig's Great Grandpa built this house many years ago, We are the 4th Atteberry Family to be here. It was sold on Contract to a guy about 20 years ago, but things didn't work out and the Atteberry family got the house back and so here we are.

This isn't my first demolition job. But it is the first time I have had to try and live around the mess. Walking around the house outside to get to the other side of the house and fighting dust in every living quarter. We remodeled 4 rooms upstairs a few years back, but we didn't have to accommodate for it, so this is a little bit of a headache.

This has been a true test of mental strength. Work 8 hours at one job come home work my other job doing photography, softball games and work on the kitchen. UGH! And of course the next 3 months are my busiest time with photography. Yes I am thinking something is about to give in my life... I am working those thoughts out in my free time!!! I vow in my next life to be a sweet little house wife who lays out in the sun, reads books, goes shopping and pays someone to paint her toenails!

This is the kitchen before, it isn't bad, but a lot of things didn't work... The guy who lived here before pieced things together and believe me when I say pieced I mean pieced! He definitely was no carpenter!

This just about 5% of the mess we had to deal with.

This wall separates the Dining area from the kitchen, we did take this down!

This is the wall down.

This is from the dining room view looking into the kitchen.

I will keep you posted on the progress, my new cabinets will be here in 2 weeks!!!
