Getting lots less for your money!

A new shirt will most likely develop a small hole or start unraveling as soon as you wash it. Most of them are so thin, you have to purchase another 10.00 shirt to wear under it.

At least every other garbage bag will leak all over the floor while waiting to be taken out to the garbage.

A bag of chips is never more than half full.

Aerosol cans leak down your arm out of the bottom of the trigger while spraying.

Cleaning supplies with triggers work every other time you pull the trigger if the trigger works at all.

Rubber bands break as your trying to put them in your hair. I do double up so if one breaks while in your hair you're still hopefully held by the other one. (I stood in a store looking for rubber bands. I picked up a package and gave a small tug to them. Every single one of them broke at the glued seam)

Bobby pins stretch open and stay open as your affixing them in your hair, so by the end of the day they are dangling by a piece of hair from your head.

The fingernail polish that claims to be "No Peel" or even a "Top Coat" will peel by the end of the same day you put it on.

I purchased a ring with cute little gems. I get compliments on my ring through out the day, I raise my hand to show off my new ring to find I have lost 4 of the 8 gems in the same day I purchased it.

I bought a new pair of sunglasses awhile back. I always pull them back on top of my head when I stop to run in somewhere. I had made a couple stops after purchasing these, I later felt something in my top. It was the decoration off of the side of the sunglasses. It had popped off with in the hour of purchasing these.

I am making pin wheels the other day and I double tortilla shells when making these. I end up with 1 shell left. I thought to myself, how did I end up with 1 if there was 10 in a package? I go back and recount my pinwheels to make sure I didn't use 3 for one of them. I did think at first maybe I ended up with 1 extra in that package of 10, I didn't, I just got shorted 1 shell in that package of 10!!

It really irritates me that everyone wants you to recycle... so you're buying used/recycled containers that have doubled in price.

I certainly do not feel like I get my moneys worth on anything I purchase anymore, or even get anything that works properly for that matter. I was thinking about all these things the other day while outside watering some flowers. I thought to myself I wonder how many other people go through what I do when they purchase something.

Meet Ashley

Here are just a few of my favorites, I am just about done working on a few we talked about with digital effects. They will be online tomorrow!!! Had a great day with you guys!!! I still laugh when I think about the snake, I did mean to get that when we left!!! My mind goes 90 miles an hour most of the time. It is a good thing my camera has a strap around the neck or I would forget it somewhere!!

We had to have the hottest day of the year for her shoot. Thank goodness I wasn't the model, with the sweat dripping I could have rung my shirt out at least twice during this session!! It really was too hot for a senior shoot outdoors, but Ashley made it through just fine and her pictures turned out great!!!

Meet Jaden

I took pictures of Jaden last evening, we had an awesome cloudy day for pictures!!! He was a super sweet and handsome guy!

I know he was tired of hearing, "Chin down"... but we got some great shots!!! I honestly tried to keep the proofing number down to help out with making a decision for Jaden, but I still went a little overboard.

Mandy Lou

This is my darling cousin Mandy. I have watched her grow from diapers to a beautiful young lady! I am very proud of her and what she has become.

We had a very windy day for our shoot, but we got a lot of nice pictures for the time schedule we had.

A beautiful day for a family shoot

I know I am way behind on blogging and I have no excuse other than I am just to busy with other things when the weather is nice. Speaking of nice days.... we had a great day for this family shoot. They are a beautiful family!!!!!





She wanted nothing to do with pictures at all, but I told her mom we would get some great shots whether she smiled or not. Those eyes are just beautiful and we got some great pics of her!



He started warming up about the time the shoot was over... but we got some fun shots of him playing!!!

This will be a print I will have hanging in the studio before long!!!

Fathers Day

My sister in law and I get together every year with our girls and have a group picture done for my dad for Fathers Day. We also hit Craig and my brother for fathers day too while the girls are all cleaned up. They are getting so big and it is starting to get easier to get their pictures. Not that it still wasn't a fight, because indead it was. I had to threaten butt spankins everyother shot. See how good that worked out though =)

Senior Representatives

I am looking for upcoming Juniors in High School who would like to participate in being my Senior Representative. It will consist of 1 boy and 1 girl from a school who will be a Junior in High School. You will receive a free sitting fee with about a 3 hour session. You will receive some information from me to hand out to your classmates....Juniors and Seniors after your proofs are done. Busy!!!

It has been a crazy start to summer already. Spring completely missed us and the weather has been really crazy in between the hot days.

Our swimming pool is still not repaired. I walk out to see it hanging by it's last thread everyday and just turn my head to avoid all thoughts of it. I did have to rescue a bird from it the other morning. I am out on the deck drinking my coffee. I hear a slashing sound, I look behind me to see a little bird stuck in the water. I jump up to find the net in the garage and run to the edge of the pool to save him. I scooped him up and carried him on the net over to the trampoline. He looked like a full grown bird but he wouldn't fly. I stood there and pet on him for while kinda pushing him hoping he would fly away, but he just sat there for the longest time. I just went back in to finish somethings and he was gone later. So hopefully he dried up and went back home.

I am working on getting some advertising in order. I have procrastiated that issue long enough
=( I have lots of people say they heard of me but couldn't find my number in the book, so I did get it added to the phone book, I am now praying for no solicitors or telemarketers!!!

We have been busy outdoors, it is hard to keep me locked up in the house doing work when it is nice outside. We planted a garden this year, so we are tending to that. I have got everything outside decorated and ready for nice warm sunny days!!!

Softball pictures have been ordered and should be arriving in a few days, so I will get those sorted and handed out next week!!!!
