Sully

The benefit for Sully was an awesome success! I designed a memorial portrait in honor of Sully and had this printed as a 24x36. I donated this portrait to his benefit to be auctioned off. The portrait sold for 700.00 and was donated back to the family! YEAH!!!!

It was such a good feeling for me to do something for a great family. I went to school with Sully's Son, Brandon and Sully's wife, Lila, was a friend of my family. There was something special about Sully that made designing this memorial something I wanted to do and I enjoyed every minute of putting this together for him.

I did a memorial like this for my Grandfather and his farm a few years ago. This isn't something I want to "have to do" for anyone. It isn't about a "Sale" or trying to be the "Better photographer" it is just me doing what I love to do for people who I care about. I loved this portrait and loved what it means to such a wonderful family.

This is the final print after I put it all together, this picture doesn't do it justice.

A little more time

Several people are still doing pictures at the end of this month for the "March, free sitting fee and free 8x10" . Orders will need to be in before your name is entered into a hat to be drawn out for the "Free photobook". This will be to win a free photobook of your favorite proofs from your session! The drawing on Monday April 5th was a little too early for them to pick out proofs and get their orders in. I will be extending this to all orders in by Friday April 9th and I will have Amber draw a name on Monday April 12th. This will give everyone towards the end of the month 2 weeks to go through proofs and get orders in.

Good luck everyone and Thank you all I've had a great time with each and everyone of you!!!!

Again, keep your eyes open, I will be running something similar in a few months!!!

Gabby

This little doll had the pretties blue eyes! She started off totally smiling and ready to do pictures. She then realized she was doing exactly what we wanted her to do =)  She was an absolute doll and was so beautiful!

A sweet couple

This has to be one of the funnest shoots yet! These 2 are the sweetest and funniest couple! I was so excited to get them together because I knew how much fun they would have. It was my plan to get them outside and do some fun pictures. (no matter how cool it was), but it was rainy =(
I am hoping to get them together again for some outdoor pictures!!

A Great Group

I really wish it would hurry up and get nice and green outside!!! I had a great family that would have been perfect for outdoor pictures!!! We had a great shoot anyway! The kids are all ready to get outside and have some fun exploring and I think I am ready to chase them around =) I'm truly hoping to these guys back for some one on one pictures, they were adorable kids!

Cousins

Here are some great shots with a group of cousins! They did a wonderful job and made this session a lot of fun and we had many laughs! These are the kind of sessions I could shoot all night. =)

Fun Day!!

Jerry was wanting to surprise his wife for her birthday with pictures of their boys. It has been so long since I just grabbed the camera and just captured fun, playing pictures. We had a beautiful day and the boys had a lot of fun!!

Cute Bunny!

This little guy was so cute!!! I had this idea just pop in my mind at work Sat. night. One of the girls I work with just so happen to have a little one to try this out on!! Too cute!!!!

My daughter has some baby chicks, so they have worked out cute for some Easter/Spring pictures!!

YEAH SPRING!!!

I love waking up to the birds singing outside!!! I had to walk around the house the other morning just to make sure there wasn't one in my house. One was so loud, I really thought it was in the next room!! It has happend before =)

I've already been outside cleaning flower beds and setting out summer stuff! I am so ready to get outside and get my hands dirty and fresh air!! I know everyone is ready for some outdoor pictures as well!!!!!

I've been going through things in the basement to get rid of. There isn't much down there but it needs cleaned up a little. There is some really cool walls to use for pictures!! I am going to be making some backgrounds to just leave down there so I can just haul my lights down there to do some pictures. I figure a nice, ugly couch and some other fun furniture will fit in perfect down there!!

I have had some GREAT sessions this month and I have had so much fun with them!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the nice spring weather!!

2 handsome little guys!

These little guys were such sweet little guys! As soon as they got to the house, I walked outsided and the oldest one is standing out in the driveway having a conversation with Craig. I had to stop and wonder if they knew eachother. They get in the house and are totally comfortable and ready to take pictures. I ask the little one if I can pick him up, he comes right to me with the sweetest little smile. They did everything I asked them to do and would just look right at me and smile! I told their mother she should be very proud to have such sweet little guys with awesome personalities!! When they left, Craig said the oldest one had to make a point to find him outside to tell him goodbye. =)

My little helper, Amber played hide and go seek with the oldest one while we did pictures of the little one. She loved every minute of having someone to play with!

Everytime Craig or Amber would walk behind me while I was working on their proofs, they would comment on how cute they were and their personalities. Daine is one lucky Mommy!!!!

My oldest daughter brings home this baby chick, so we had to use it for a prop!!
