Taylor

This is Taylor, she is a Senior at Shelbyville High School. We had a pretty nice evening for pictures. It wasn't as hot as it has been. I haven't seen Taylor for quite a few years. She has grown up to be a beautiful young lady! We had so many awesome pictures, it was hard to just pick a few for the blog, so enjoy!!!!

Kasey

This is my daughter Kasey, we had an afternoon with nothing going on. It of course was another really warm evening, so the session didn't last too long.

We were invited to a farm with lots of great areas for pictures! I would love to find an evening when it isn't so hot to explore the entire place!! We had a fun day in spite of the heat =(

Hollie

We had a very warm day with Hollie, but she was hanging right in there with me! I have had some great sessions with Hollie and I have had a hard time keeping her proofing down =( Too many GREAT pics!!!! Hollie has definetly kept me laughing through out all the sessions.....along with Kaylee!!
This has been such a hot summer! I know makes it tough for seniors to relax and feel comfortable, but everyone has been hanging in there and we are still having lots of fun!

Different Photo Effects

I got the nicest email from a lady awhile back stating "Hi Tonya, we are from Chicago and will be in Illinois the week of June 20th. We would love to have the opportunity for you to do our pictures. While we were searching for photogaphers in your area we came across your website. We love the versatility you have with all your sessions. That is most definetly something that sets you aside from the rest of the photographers! We have a family of different tastes and are sure you will be able to please each and everyone of us."

My photographer friend tells me all the time...."Stop offering so many pictures to your clients" (Love ya Melissa).....=) I keep telling her, a lot of times it is the same thing done different ways. I get so many compliments on how I mix things up and don't make every picture the same effect. I hear all the gossip like "Oh my gosh their photography looks like so and so's photography". I feel that is what makes me different from everyone else. Mixing up is "my style" and when I look back on older pictures I see that is how I always have been!!! Besides, it lets me have fun while working on pictures too =)

I just wanted to share this wonderful email with everyone and show the different effects that can be done to a picture. I always show my clients different effects to get to know their style before I do a session and find out what they are looking for. I'm always surprised to find they like to mix it up too, just like I do!!
