A year old already!

I have been taking pictures of Everett since he was a baby... We just had his 1st cake smash party. I went back and got his baby picture so you can see how big this little guy is.

These are the sweetest little kids!

Everett wasn't feeling the greatest.... But he was a trooper!

His big sister Loves him so much!

This is my lil Aubrie! She is such a beautiful little girl!

Those eyes!!

This is Hampton he just turned 1.... and he is such a sweet little guy! He was so cooperative. It took a little bit to get him to smile, but after some warming up.... those beautiful eyes come to life with his smile.

I know Melissa is looking at this saying "Cut those proofs down girl, a mother can not make a decision with all those proofs" :) There was just so many I couldn't narrow them down to just a few!

This is how Hampton eats cake! Saves on messy fingers! I was cracking up when I seen him bend over and eat like that.

We gave him a little help getting messy.... A cake smash isn't a cake smash with out a mess everywhere! It ended up everywhere too!

Anna

Anna was another great Senior shoot! Her personality and style was very cute! Love those girls who are just naturally cute and love the camera!! I had a great time with Anna and her mom and had some great new places to try out!!!

Thanks Anna for giving me the opportunity to do your Senior pictures! I had a hard time sorting to put online.

Mackenzie

Mackenzie....... OMG these turned out so good!!!! I was surprised to see a different side of Mackenzie! I have always thought she was a doll baby, but you look so grown up in these pictures! I am use to that little tomboyish girl running around on the softball diamond.

She did such a great job and I had a lot of fun hanging out with you guys!!! I just picked a few of my favorites to post on my blog... I don't think I found a bad one in the batch!

Little Cheeser

This is my nephew Jarrett, he was so much fun to play with doing pictures! He has such a good personality and I had a good time with him. I had to share just a few of my favorites.

Kitchen Complete

Well almost complete.... I still have to get trim up and our dishwasher in and waiting on my bar counter top.... but it is looking great!! Craig surprised me when I came back from Oklahoma and had my tile down on the floor.... so everything was in order when I got back. I promised pictures of it when I had it done, so this is it!

My inspiration for colors was a coffee cup Melissa "My photographer friend from Oklahoma"bought me from Starbucks.

Here are the "Before" & "After's"

Oklahoma City Bombing of the Murrah Federal Building

I got to visit the OK. City bombing Memorial site during my visit to Oklahoma.... Very beautiful at night, everything was illuminated with soft lighting.

This was the area you saw once you walked through the doorway of the wall standing. We came in on the other side which looks just like the one you see below. The water was 1 inch deep and illuminated the area very nicely.

This was the field of chairs that represented the people who lost their lives during the bombing, each chair had their name on it. The small ones were for the children and the large ones were for the adults. The chairs are where the building once stood.

This was part of the wall that survived the bombing.

The building in the background is the museum for the memorial site. The tree you see surrounded by the block wall is called the "Survivor Tree" it was just about destroyed and the Elm survived the bombing.

And Jesus Wept statue is outside the building across the street on the corner. He was also soft illuminated with lighting.

My "Oklahoma Photographer Friend"

I took a trip to Oklahoma to meet a friend whom is the reason I got into photography more. I have been talking to Melissa for 4 years I was helping her with some pictures on a forum as I did for fun. She and I became good friends right away! She saw my work and pushed me to do photography more.

She has taught me so much, believe me, she laughed with disbelief at how I did things... but I am telling you, I made it work and it didn't cost me anything for a lot of years!! (that would be the way we do it down south) :) But.... she started introducing me an easier way and has taught me so much!!! She did film photography for years, so I was able to teach her a little photoshop and she has taught me to use the right lights, set ups and basics of photography.

We have Wed. morning coffee together, we work on pictures together over the phone and throw idea's at eachother. We are very critical of eachother and learn a lot from eachother.

The visit was very nice, I got to play with all her props and I am so jealous!!!! This girl had 2 rooms full of props! She set her studio up and we played one afternoon. I loved being able to watch her do her thing! Neither one of us wanted our picture taken, but no one else was around to use.

She is building a studio and I loved being able to see how she is going to grow with ease.... I love ya Melissa and will see you again soon!!!

It is never easy to take your own picture!! We were worn out at this point, so this was just going to have to do!

This was my favorite one that I worked on of Melissa!!

This one was kinda neat, Except it says Nikon on it!!! :) That one was a payback Melissa!!

This was one she did of me that I liked the best and Any Canon owner would know that was a Canon Melissa!
