Jack's grandkids

This is Jack and his grandkids. I work with Jack and have nothing but laughter with him!! He wanted to surprise his grandkids' mom for Mothers Day with pictures. These kids were so cute and had awesome personalities!!! Thanks Jack for bringing them out!!!!

Miss. Kenly

Congrats to Eric and Danielle for their new beautiful addition to the family!!! This is Kenly, she is absolutely beautiful!!! She gave me plenty of sleeping and awake moments to take pictures of her! I loved working with her!!!!

Frederick

This is Nate and Marci's family. They have a beautiful family and I was happy to be able to take some pictures of them!!! I've known Nate for many many years and I use to babysit for their little girl, she was the only baby I had for a little while, so I was pretty partial!! It is always good to see how big and beautiful she has become!!! Their Son Erin is in the service and was able to come home for a couple weeks!!!! You can see so much love in those little girls' eyes when they are with their big brother!! We had a beautiful day to play and I am hoping to get ahold of those little girls and play some more!!

Jaclyn's Tu Tu and Hairbows

Jaclyn Frederick makes adorable hair accessories and bows for girls of all ages. She is starting to design Tu Tu's for girls to play dress up and have fun in. She has a few of her items displayed at "New 2 You". A new consignment / resale shop on North 128 directly across the street South from Connlleys Building Center.

We done just a few pictures of her beautiful work to show off and to make displays for the new store.

Dare Picnic

Monday was the Dare Picnic at the forest park. It was a beautiful day full of events and lots of things to see! I had the privilege to attend on my day off and walk around with my camera and just take lots of pictures!

I loved watching the kids and seeing their expressions of just having fun and being themselves! I unfortunately can't post all the pictures on my blog, so I will just let everyone know, click on client proofs and enter the username and password  "Dare" be sure to use a capital D and no " " 's.

Weekend Away!!!

I took the much needed weekend off! Craig and I took off for St. Louis for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and our 18th wedding anniversary, coming May 23rd.

The NHRA races were at St. Louis, so we booked a room Friday night and spend the entire day at the race track Saturday. I love just about any racing event, so it was a great way to spend my birthday!!!

Our hotel was very nice, nothing too fancy. The steak resaurant sold it for me! =) So we arrive Friday afternoon, go to eat and of course it is a little more fancy than I had expected, but they still had steak on the menu!!! We had our choice of a free appetizer or glass of wine.... Boones farm wasn't part of the wine list, so we went for the appetizer! Onion rings is the only thing I recognize, so that was what I wanted to order. The waitress informs us there are no onion rings =( Craig and I had to sit there and try and figure out what everything was on that menu. More so me doing the figuring out part. He started explaining to me what little he understood things to be. I was hearing things like squid, fish eggs, crab, (I'm thinking seafood isn't even close to what I call a meal) One thing we weren't sure of, the waitress explained that it was octopus and had a gummy bear texture. I can't even imagin the look I had on my face when she looked at me. I said "UGH no thank you"  So we sit and look over the menu a little bit longer. I am thinking "Crabcakes, Hmmm I doesn't sound as bad as everything else" So I said heck with it, we have a free appetizer, so lets give it a try. It comes out in 2 nice little mounds with decorations and stuff all over it. 1 bite was all we took, I placed it over to the side. The waitress comes back and says "Oh is something wrong with it" I said "No it looks really pretty and all, but we are more steak and potato kinda people". I was seriously worried about the steak at this point! It's really hard to mess up a steak, but I was still worried! Needless to say everything else was wonderful!!!

I enjoyed the day walking around just taking photos. I wasn't a digital artist this weekend, just someone carrying a camera capturing everyone doing their thing!

Cousins

These are my cousins children. 2 of them, I don't get to see very often, so it is always nice to get to see them!!
They of course did a great job, which was expected since we came from a pretty awesome family!! =) They really were great kids and I wished I had known they were home, I would have grabbed ahold of the pretty young lady and went out and played for a day!! I really wanted to get some outdoor pictures too, but the weather left us with pretty wet grounds =(
